PROJECT CYCLE MANAGEMENT

We support public, private and third-sector organisations with project development, monitoring, evaluation and research according to the best and most innovative international standards. Our approach to planning is not only child-centred but it is above all sustainable, ecological and intersectional.

RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS

We elaborate reports and desk reviews, basing our work on systemic analyses of existing publications and on the collection of new data – conducting research with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, following the highest ethical standards. Our research is dedicated to supporting children’s interests and upholding their rights. We implement effective participatory research that enables children and young people to actively and truly engage at every stage of the research process – from developing initial research questions to disseminating findings, including participatory data analysis.

TRAINING

We develop, create and carry out capacity-building activities and tools for adults, children and young people and we support the creation of educational material. We plan our courses and curricula on the basis of our clients’ and participants’ needs and continuously ameliorate our practice thanks to rigorous evaluation. We engage both frontal and participatory methodologies, implementing innovative participant-centred approaches to teaching and learning.

CREATION AND IMPLEMENTATION

We design and implement innovative projects and programmes in partnership with the public, private and third sectors. Academic research underpins our project ideas and ethical conduct characterises their implementation. We appreciate sustainable projects with heterogeneous partners and believe in the impact of the results as much as in the importance of the processes. We realise projects with the aim of shaping a fairer and more equitable society. Articolo12 rejects tokenistic and superficial approaches to child participation, but actively promotes the effective involvement of children and young people in the design and implementation of projects, always prioritising the best interests of those involved.
