What is puberty? Am I afraid of a break up? What does “toxic relationship” mean?
Are my sexual desires “strange”? Is sending nude photos without consent considered “violence”?
What is the difference between sex and gender? What is a vulva?
If you are a teenager (and maybe not only) you probably asked yourself some of these questions and many others.
We tried to answer very common questions among people under-18 on sexuality, sex, romantic relationships, gender, violence, the body – and all the human rights related to these topics. Starting from some UNESCO indications on comprehensive sexuality education, we created the small brochure – in Italian – “Sex Ed Pills”, to read and browse alone or with friends.
Obviously this is not an exhaustive resource. The goal of “Sex Ed Pills” is to stimulate curiosity, to give young people some answers (and resources) and to get them to talk about sexuality (not just sex, not just health, not just affectivity). Talking about sexuality in an all-encompassing way is the first step to breaking down taboos and living our lives to the fullest.
